WINTER QUARTER begins the week of January 16!
Our Life Groups are what keep us sane and connected. If you would like more information about our Life Groups, please email Pastor Bill today.
Life Groups are at the very heart of who we are as a church; our small groups are an excellent opportunity for believers to study God’s Word together and enjoy fellowship in a manner that is unique to a life group. Our Life Groups meet throughout the week on and off campus on different days and at different times.

More About Life Groups
You build relationships which can only take place in a small group setting. Being sermon-based, our lessons are prepared in a way that is comfortable for the young believer or the person who has been studying God’s Word for 30 years. Receiving prayer for specific needs and concerns in your life is an amazing blessing of the life group experience.
Simply put, it is good accountability in our Christian walk to be in a life group.
There are more good reasons to join a life group than the ones listed above, but these are important points to consider before making your decision.
The main groups at Grace Hills Church are our Life Groups (small groups), seniors, men’s and women’s ministries, children and youth ministries. We also have support ministry groups – Celebrate Recovery, Grief Share and Stephen Ministries.
With 18,000+ residents living in Laguna Woods Village nearby, Grace Hills has a Seniors Ministry that offers multiple ways to stay active and get connected. We offer a Traditional Worship Service at 11:00am and an Adult Sunday School Class at 11:00am in the Chapel. We also offer a Life Group Bible Study on Wednesdays at 10:30am in the Chapel. Jeanne Williams, our Congregational Care Director, oversees this ministry with the help of our deaconesses who connect with every senior in our church every month.
Every month men gather together for breakfast at 8:00am in our Fellowship Center on the third Saturday of the month. The men enjoy great food, conversation, and a message from God’s Word. Afterwards, many of the men go and play golf together. Every September, our men have their retreat at Thousand Pines Christian Conference Center.
Our women get together for various events throughout the year. Beginning Saturday, September 11 from 9:00-10:30am, our women will be meeting on the second Saturday of each month for breakfast and a study using the book “In His Image” by Jen Wilkin. Our women enjoy a spring luncheon, Christmas brunch, and annual retreat in April at Thousand Pines Christian Conference Center. Many of our women meet for coffee and play dates with their kids as well as beach days at Mother’s Beach in Dana Point during the summer.
Our children meet for Sunday School each Sunday at 9:15am the Children’s Center. During the school year, our children also meet on Wednesday nights from 6:30-8:00pm in our Children’s Center for games, prayer and a fun and creative lesson from God’s Word. Our children’s ministry also offers VBS during the summer as well as winter and summer camps.
Our youth (Jr. High and High School) meet on Sunday mornings at 11:00am in our Youth Center. Most of our students attend the contemporary service at 9:15am before enjoying refreshments in the Fellowship Center. Our youth also meet on Wednesday nights from 6:30-8:00pm in our Youth Center where they play games, enjoy tasty treats, then learn and participate in the Bible lesson presented that night. Monthly outreach events are offered as well as winter camp at Camp Pondo and summer camp at Hume Lake.
In partnership with Saddleback Church Laguna Woods, Grace Hills offers Celebrate Recovery “Open Share” for men and for women on Thursday afternoons at 3:00pm in the Fellowship Center.
COVID-19 UPDATE: Celebrate Recovery is currently not meeting in person at this time.

A Stephen Minister is known as “The After People” whereby they come alongside an individual after a very difficult trial or season of life. It could be after a divorce or after the disappointing medical report. It could be after a loss of employment or after the loss of a loved one. Whatever the circumstance, this group of ministers provides comfort and support for as long after is needed.
