MISSIONS
The church was never meant to be a clubhouse for the saints but a lighthouse for the lost.
“For this is what the Lord has commanded us: ‘I have made you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.”
(Acts 13:47)
In him was life, and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
(John 1:4-5)
“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.”

The mission of Grace Hills Church is “honoring God by helping more people become fully devoted followers of Christ” – a mission that requires us to reach beyond our campus, out into our community and around the world.

Our missions endeavors start and center around the people of our local communities: Aliso Viejo and Laguna Woods. We seek to understand the ongoing needs of the people of our local community and meet them as effectively as we can.
I N T E R N A T I O N A L
Our pursuit of missions looks beyond our immediate context to recognize the least and lost around the globe. We believe we are called to reach outside our community to the ends of the earth and steward our resources for Gospel-advancement around the world.
G O S P E L - F O C U S E D
Our missions and missionary partners are fully devoted to spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We believe both preaching the Gospel and showing the Gospel (word and deed) are vital components of effective missions. These two components ought never to be disconnected.
H O L I S T I C
Our missions and missionary partners are thoughtful in their intention to bring about holistic, sustainable support to local and international communities. We aim to train, equip, and empower local leaders and churches to reach their people in meeting spiritual and tangible needs.

Our missions endeavors aim at transforming, not perpetuating present circumstances. We aim to partner with the Holy Spirit in transforming hearts and believe a Gospel-focused, holistic missions mindset is the best perspective in accomplishing this goal.
