Dr. Mike Johnson
Interim Senior Pastor
Mike was born in San Gabriel, CA. He attended Cal State Fullerton and later received his M.Div from Talbot School of Theology. Mike earned his D.Min from Grace Graduate School. He served as the Senior Pastor of Grace Hills Church for 17 years, and has been pastoring in an interim role since 2025.
Mike loves studying scripture to discover truths about God and His will for the lives of believers. He and his wife have four grown children and enjoy spending time with their grandchildren. His hope and passion is for more people to experience newness of life in Christ and to help more people become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.
“But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your toil is not in vain in the Lord.” (1 Corinthians 15:57-58)
David Kudenchuk
Pastor of worship & young adults
David was born in Seattle, WA. He attended Biola University where he graduated with a B.A. in Bible & Theology and completed his M.A. in Theology from Talbot School of Theology. He is currently finishing his M.Div at Talbot. David has been on staff at Grace Hills since 2022.
David’s heart is to lead musical worship in a way that unites the church by singing Scripture-saturated songs of truth praising the character of God. He leads the Young Adults ministry (18-30 year olds) and serves on the preaching team.
“But I do not account my life of any value nor as precious to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.” (Acts 20:24)
Noah Herring
Youth & marketing director
Noah was born in San Diego, CA. He attended Biola University where he graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration (Marketing) and completed his MBA. He has been on staff at Grace Hills since 2024.
Noah seeks to equip the congregation with the tools to confidently share Jesus with others. His desire is to see new people come to church each week to hear the Gospel. His heart is for the next generation to be excited to come to church and growing in their relationships with each other and with Jesus.
“He only is my rock and my salvation; He is my defense; I shall not be moved.” (Psalm 62:6)
Lyn Lacanienta
Office Manager
Lyn grew up in Orange County in a Christian home as a “pastor’s kid.” She graduated from Liberty University and has been a member of Grace Hills since 2011. Lyn joined the GHC staff in 2023, overseeing all business operations, human resources, and facility management.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledgeHim, and He shall directyour paths.” (Proverbs 3:5-6)
Marietta Sajdowitz
Grace Kids Director
Etta grew up in Huntington Beach and Fountain Valley. She graduated from Cal State Fullerton. Etta came to Grace Hills Church in 2012 after being invited by a neighbor. She joined the GHC staff in 2013 as Children’s Director.
Etta oversees Grace Kids (ages birth through 5th grade). The ministry seeks to come alongside children and their families as they grow in their knowledge of Christ.
“The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” (Lamentations 3:21-23)
Mark Johnson
Executive Director
Mark grew up in Banning, CA. He attended Cal State Fullerton and has been part of the Grace Hills family for over 20 years. He formerly was on staff as the Contemporary Worship Director. Mark and his wife Lori have two daughters. He helps oversee the staff, serves on the elder board, and has a hand in many ministries at GHC.
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)

John Aldridge
Lay Elder, President
John began attending Grace Hills in 1997. He became an elder in 2004. He and his wife, have been married for 43 years. They enjoy spending time with their two grown children and seven grandchildren. John leads a life group, serves on the preaching team, and oversees the seniors ministry at GHC.
Tony Jones
Lay Elder, Vice President
Tony began attending Grace Hills in 1996 and joined the Elder Board in 2010. He has been married for 35 years and has two adult children. Tony serves as a leader in the Men’s Ministry and as a Growth Group leader.
Warren Williams
Lay Elder, Secretary & CFO
Warren began attending Grace Hills in 1991 and joined the elder team in 2008. He and his wife of 46 years have three children and four grandkids. Warren serves as a life group, growth group teacher, and is involved in Men’s Ministry.
Jon Varela
Lay Elder
Jon, his wife, and their three kids began attending Grace Hills in 2021. Jon joined the elder team in 2024. He brings a passion for teaching and spreading God’s Word. Jon is involved with Gideons International, serves on the preaching team, and leads a life group.
